Mood Indigo was fantastic! They superbly fitted in with the relaxed atmosphere of our wedding and played some excellent jazz music in the day and evening. All our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the performances of the band and the vocalist, Shari, who joined them in the evening. Our friend said that Shari’s voice was 'effortlessly good'. We were especially delighted with the first dance song that was not part of their repertoire but they practised and performed for us brilliantly. They were also very nice, friendly people and took us up on our invite and joined us for a dance and a few drinks after their set was finished.

Thank you to you and Len for a wonderful performance for us yesterday! You exceeded our clients expectations-the big boss loved you guys and …... our client said that the acts this year were the highest standard we've ever had. So thank you for doing me proud! I will definitely send more work your way when I can! I hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Mood Indigo were an excellent addition to our wedding festivities. From the moment they began playing they really set the tone for a fabulous celebration. We wanted a jazz set and they duly obliged playing the modern jazz sound my wife and I both love and they played beautifully. Beforehand we asked them to learn a couple of Swedish classics and many of the Swedes who flew over to London for the event were really touched that such an effort was made. We are totally happy with their performance and it was great value for money. They were punctual especially considering it was difficult to get to the venue due to the Lord Mayor's Show and they dressed just as we wanted. I only wish I had another event so I could have an excuse to hire them again. They were that good! Also, thanks to ……. for all their help with the booking. 5 out of 5 stars.

What songs do live bands play at weddings?

The bands have a repertoire of songs from which they play. They are often open to suggestions and request numbers. It is a good idea to indicate this well in advance of booking. On the evening itself, requested songs can be detrimental to the construction of the set and therefore the enjoyment of the guests. If a requested song is not in the repertoire, several bands are willing to rehearse 1 or 2 songs.

What happens during the bands breaks?

During the breaks, the band provides atmospheric music which they play over their sound system. The music is of course in line with the music played during the performance. Some bands come with a DJ, who will then provide the music. Of course you can also book a DJ for the breaks with all live bands.

What is a cover band?

A cover band is a music group that plays well-known songs originally recorded by other artists. Unlike original bands, which create and perform their own music, a cover band focuses on playing well-known music from different genres and eras. The goal of a cover band is to entertain the audience and let them enjoy well-known music by accurately playing these songs and sometimes also enhancing them with their own interpretations.

Cover bands can be hired for various types of events, including parties, festivals, corporate functions, weddings and other special occasions.

How is the technology arranged?

Each artist has a technical rider that is shared in advance to ensure requirements can be met. This states exactly what the famous artist needs to perform. Most acts bring their own other than those in our Famous Section.

Is the artist available?

It is important to carefully check whether the well-known artist is available on the indicated date. We will check the availability for you and will send you a proposal based on this. If we indicate that the artist is available, the option will also be fixed. Otherwise it will be clearly indicated.

What is a rider?

A rider is a document in which the wishes and requirements of an artist are recorded. Well-known artists in particular often have a number of wishes, such as their own dressing room, a certain number of bottles of drinks, a meal and so on. In addition to this 'hospitality rider', artists often also have a 'technical rider'. This rider states, for example, which speakers, inputs and monitors are desired. In many cases, the artist's sound engineer takes this himself. He can also plug into your available sound set. On the technical rider you can see whether your Production Kit & Audio meets the artist's requirements. If you don't understand this. No problem, we are happy to help you with this!

How is the price determined?

The desired duration of the performance
Travel time and travel costs
Any lighting and/or sound technology required
Any waiting and preparation time
The group size
Familiarity of the act
Booking Fees

Ultimately, every party is unique. Therefore, we are happy to discuss your requirements in advance and can make an appropriate tailor-made proposal.

How can I cancel?

Do you want to cancel unexpectedly? Please contact us, we will then try to resolve it as best we can for both you and the entertainment you have booked. In consultation, we usually come to the best solution.
This is our standard cancellation policy:
The deposit is payable upon issue of contract and non-returnable unless the Artist cancels the performance. The Promoter / Client agrees to pay 100% of the total fee agreed if the performance is cancelled within 120 days of signing the contract.

How does payment take place?

After signing the contract directly with the Artists or their Management, you will be sent an invoice with the payment details included payable by bank transfer to our UK partner Jealous Entertainment Ltd and / or directly from the Artist or direct Management.

What if last-minute it turns out the act cannot perform?

We always have a backup option available. If the entertainment you have booked is unable to perform due to force majeure, we will do everything we can to make it happen. Because we have such a large network, we always succeed.
