Quintino is a Dutch DJ who travelled the world on the heels of his mega top 40 hit "Epic". He has been booked for major festivals like Mysteryland. He is described as "bringing music with energy" and with his big smile and great passion, he pumps up the crowd like no one else can!
Quintino was born in Den Helder in 1985. He started as a DJ at the age of 15. At 18, he was discovered by Laidback Luke and he released songs like ‘Girls’, ‘Wooker’ and ‘SupersoniQ’. His big breakthrough came when Quintino made a remix of Cidinho and Doca’s song ‘Rap Das Armas’ in April 2009. That was a worldwide club hit and topped Dutch sales and the airplay charts. The video now has more than 10 million views on Youtube. His next hit, ‘Heaven’, a collaboration with soul singer Mitch Crown, was released in August 2009. This was another big hit for Quintino and was one of the most played radio records in 2009. The follow-up single was released in 2010.
In 2010, Quintino started his own label SupersoniQ Records, where he released some more great club tracks. These included songs like ‘Fire’ by Quintino & The Partysquad, ‘Drop The Beat’, ‘Sustain’ and the great club banger ‘I Feel’. Quintino does more than 200 shows a year in the Benelux. His summer tour is already booked for Spain, Bulgaria and Greece. One of his greatest performances of the past year was a performance with 300,000 people during the Queen's Day in the Netherlands. Quintino has collaborated with DJs like Afrojack and Tiesto and can count himself among the very best.
