About The Tidy Boys

It was back in 1995 when Andy Pickles and Amadeus Mozart set up Tidy, which went on to be the biggest hard house label and one of the World’s biggest clubbing brands.

However, it wasn't until March 1999 that the boys teamed up to perform their first DJ set together. Founders of the Tidy Trax label empire, the dynamic duo created the front-running label in hard dance, giving themselves a platform showcase their skills behind the decks at thousands of events across the globe.

Before The Tidy Boys’ journey began, Amadeus & Andy both had a fairly prolific music and DJ career themselves individually. Amadeus & Andy had a massive dance hit under the name Hyperlogic in 1995 called ‘Only Me’ - this was a cross over hit but after working with major record labels they decoded to set their own up in 1995 called TIDY TRAX, this went on to be the worlds biggest hard house label and also the biggest selling vinyl label in Europe in the late 90’s.
The boys also produced many other top acts and spawned careers for Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Eddie Halliwell and many more. They went on to have huge album success producing the Hard House Euphoria series with many gold discs under their belt.

The creativity, passion and fun that the boys have delivered both in the studio, in albums, on Tidy TV channels and in live sets has been an inspiration to many. They have never taken themselves seriously and always had their tongue firmly planted in their cheeks but The Tidy Boys have proved that they are true entertainers and love what they do.

As well as their own events from Magna in Sheffield to the legendary Tidy Weekenders the boys have headlined key festivals with their own arenas at Creamfields, Godskitchen Global Gathering, Escape Into The Park, PlanetLove Festival and Dance Valley, while also pulling off surprise packages in Ibiza with Dave Peace and Judge Jules.

After DJing around the world and in almost every town and city in the UK, In 2015, Tidy celebrated their 20th Birthday and after the TIDYXX Tour the Boys decided to pull away from regular week in week out club events, they put a special party on in Birmingham which saw 2500 people attending a farewell celebration. From here the boys said they would only play Tidy events or very very special events… this still applies to this day.

Since 2022 Tidy Trax and the harder fast sound has become very popular again, with the likes of Hannah Laing, Patrick Topping and Eats Everything all claiming their current sound is inspired by the sound of Tidy and Hard House, recently these three have all featured on the Tidy label, something they all said was a aspiration moment for them.

At this point the Tidy Boys are back in the studio producing and once again nurturing new talent, they also have the bug once more to play special one off events, showing the world all sides to their wide range of sound and talent, from party banners to underground ecliptic grooves, the boys have always made their sets an entertaining journey.

In 2025 Tidy celebrates 30 years, an achievement rarely seen by many labels and brands, a tour and special events are being planned, and the Tidy Boys will always be at the front of the celebrations.
