To make your party truly ‘disco’, you can also book a disco dance floor at Evenses. This illuminated dance floor consists of different surfaces with different colours; this makes for an ultimate disco feeling at your event. It can also be great to add a silent disco to your party. You will hear the music not on the DJ speakers, but on headphones, and this can be broadcast on multiple channels. This is a great way to keep the party going right up to the last hour (in case of noise restrictions)! Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our disco parties and DJ’s prizes - we will gladly send you a proposal and information regarding hiring a Disco DJ.

What does a Disco DJ play?

A Disco DJ plays disco music. Disco music is a genre of dance music which is up-tempo. It emerged in the 70's from the urban night life scene in the United States. Its sound is identified by "four on the floor beats", syncopated basslines, electric piano, synthesizers, string sections, horns and electric rhythm guitars

What is Disco DJ short for?

Disco stands for "discothèque" a French word meaning "library of phonograph records". DJ stands for "Disc jockey".

What is the first Disco DJ song played?

Early Disco DJs mixed preexisting songs. The first records played by Disco DJs in dance clubs in the early '70s weren't what we could consider disco at all — such as The Temptations' "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" 1972 hit.

Benefits of a Disco DJ at your event?

  1. Energetic Atmosphere: Disco DJs infuse events with high-energy beats that get everyone on the dance floor.

  2. Nostalgia Trip: For those who remember the disco era, it's a delightful trip down memory lane.

  3. Universal Appeal: Disco music transcends age groups, making it enjoyable for both young and old attendees.

  4. Visual Spectacle: Many Disco DJs incorporate vibrant light shows, enhancing the overall event experience.

  5. Versatility: Disco can be blended with modern genres, offering a diverse musical experience.

  6. Professional Sound: Experienced DJs ensure optimal sound quality throughout the event.

  7. Interactive Experience: Many Disco DJs engage with the audience, taking song requests and dedicating tracks.

  8. Themed Events: Perfect for 70s-themed parties or retro nights.

  9. Memorable Moments: The unique beats and rhythms of disco create standout moments that guests will talk about long after.

What is the process of a booking?

Our job is to completely unburden you so that you end up having a successful party. This is how you achieve a successful party:

  1. Look at our website and choose the entertainment you like. Difficult to choose? Contact our team and we will help you find the right option
  2. You will receive a proposal, does it not quite fit your needs then let us know and we will try to adjust to suit. You can indicate that you wish to book and we arrange the contracts to be signed by the artist or direct management and yourself.
  3. We will make an agreement and invoice. Payment Terms are 50% of the Artists Fees plus Booking Fees to confirm the act. The balance will be required 30 days before the event date. If your event is 30 days or less from the booking time then the full amount will be expected.
  4. Artwork or any online promotions cannot be actioned until the deposit is paid in full.
  5. All Artwork and Publications must be proofread prior to release.
  6. We ensure all the entertainment is booked correctly and we organise the whole process until the event date.
  7. We're all set. We are going to make it a successful occasion!
How is the technology arranged ?

Each artist has a technical rider that is shared in advance to ensure requirements can be met. This states exactly what the famous artist needs to perform. Most acts bring their own other than those in our Famous Section.

Is the artist available?

It is important to carefully check whether the well-known artist is available on the indicated date. We will check the availability for you and will send you a proposal based on this. If we indicate that the artist is available, the option will also be fixed. Otherwise it will be clearly indicated.

What is a rider?

A rider is a document in which the wishes and requirements of an artist are recorded. Well-known artists in particular often have a number of wishes, such as their own dressing room, a certain number of bottles of drinks, a meal and so on. In addition to this 'hospitality rider', artists often also have a 'technical rider'. This rider states, for example, which speakers, inputs and monitors are desired. In many cases, the artist's sound engineer takes this himself. He can also plug into your available sound set. On the technical rider you can see whether your Production Kit & Audio meets the artist's requirements. If you don't understand this. No problem, we are happy to help you with this!

How is the price determined?

The desired duration of the performance
Travel time and travel costs
Any lighting and/or sound technology required
Any production kit required
Any waiting and preparation time
The group size
Familiarity of the act
Booking Fees

Ultimately, every party is unique. Therefore, we are happy to discuss your requirements in advance and can make an appropriate tailor-made proposal.

How can I cancel?

Do you want to cancel unexpectedly? Please contact us, we will then try to resolve it as best we can for both you and the entertainment you have booked. In consultation, we usually come to the best solution.
This is our standard cancellation policy:
The deposit is payable upon issue of contract and non-returnable unless the Artist cancels the performance. The Promoter / Client agrees to pay 100% of the total fee agreed if the performance is cancelled within 120 days of signing the contract.

How does payment take place?

After signing the contract directly with the Artists or their Management, you will be sent an invoice with the payment details included payable by bank transfer to our UK partner Jealous Entertainment Ltd and / or directly from the Artist or direct Management

What if last-minute it turns out the act cannot perform?

We always have a backup option available. If the entertainment you have booked is unable to perform due to force majeure, we will do everything we can to make it happen. Because we have such a large network, we always succeed.
